Full kit (Starts at 1000€)
The full kit includes all software and hardware needed to create a protogen.
- 2x 64x32 RGB LED panels
- Controller PCB for the head
- Choice of expressions. The amount and complexity of the expressions will affect the price
- RGB LEDs for side circles
- Time-of-flight sensor for detecting boop. (Works even in direct sunlight)
- OLED screen to show user info
- Gyro and acceleration sensor
- 2x internal microphones and a throat microphone
- 3x fans for excellent ventilation and to keep visor fog-free, even in cold weather
- SD card for GIFs and sound files
- RTC for time keeping
- USB PD trigger board
- 2x paw controllers
This can be purchased as a DIY kit to attach to your protogen head frame, or you may ship your frame to me and I can assemble everything.
The kit is shipped without handpaw batteries and RTC battery for orders outside of EU.
Handpaw controller 65€
Includes as single wireless handpaw controller PCB, LiPo battery (only for customers in EU) and four buttons.
Can communicate wirelessly with any ESP32 microcontroller. Settings can be easily configured.

Protogen controller PCB
This includes only the main PCB needed for driving a protogen head. There are multiple different options to choose from:
- Unassembled PCB
- Assembled PCB
- Assembled or unassembled PCB with basic software base
- Assembled or unassembled PCB with full software
The unassembled option is only for those who have a considerable amount of experience with soldering.
Basic software only includes the bare minimum for running the microcontroller and communicating with the FPGA. The basic software base is only recommended if you have previous experience with using STM32 microcontrollers
Full software includes my standard software and your choice of expressions.
